Our rooms are as individual as our guests – no two rooms are alike. We've lovingly renovated and revitalized the mountain guesthouse. Rustic alpine charm blends seamlessly with modern comfort, comfortable box-spring beds, and thoughtful details – a place to unwind and linger.
The car-free village of Eggberge offers a true escape. Fall asleep under the stars, wake up to panoramic views of the Uri Alps – just minutes above Altdorf, yet far removed from everyday life. As a family-run mountain guesthouse, we live up here and welcome our guests into our home.
In addition, all guests receive a 20% discount on the Eggberge cable car.
Breakfast is included: fresh bread, croissants, yogurt from Eggberge Jersey cows and fine regional products.

A cozy but spacious family room with a double bed and two single beds, with a wonderful view of the Uri Alps and the Eggberge. Modern bathroom with walk-in shower which leaves nothing to be desired. Enjoy the coffee or tea in the room before you spend the night in the comfortable box spring bed (double bed).
Standard Double
'Fleschsee'
A compact but cosy double room with lovely open views over the fields and the rising mountain beyond. Rustic alpine style combined with modern comforts, with our standard shower, but still leaves nothing to be desired after a fulfilling day. Enjoy a coffee or tea in the room before you spend the night in a comfortable box-spring bed (140cm).
Attic Double Room 'Brunnistock' (Shared WC)
Newly renovated rooms available from December 2023: A cozy room with one double bed and one comfortable sofa/bed. Ideal for couples, or a family of 3 people, or for sharing adults wanting separate beds. Amazing views over the valley and mountains opposite. Wash basin in the room. This room shares a modern shower/wc with one other room that is accessed via the corridor. Enjoy the coffee or tea before spending the night in the comfortable alpine room with exposed old beams and charm.
Attic Double Room 'Urnersee' (Shared WC)
Newly renovated rooms available from December 2023: A cozy room with one double bed and one comfortable sofa/bed. Ideal for couples, or a family of 3-4 people, or for sharing adults wanting separate beds. Lovely garden views across fields and farmland. Deluxe ensuite WC with shower. Enjoy a coffee or tea before spending the night in the comfortable alpine room with exposed old beams and charm.
Eggberge Chapel Apartment -
7 Nights
ONLY possible from Saturday to Saturday (7 nights = CHF 400.-)
Fully equipped holiday home. Only 2 minutes from the hotel and the cable car and 5 minutes from the ski lift in the Marienkapelle with a beautiful view.
In the entrance area there is a cloakroom for coats/jackets and shoes and there is space for luggage. Upstairs is the bedroom with a double bed, 43" TV, WIFI, small seating area and panoramic views of the Uri Alps. Next door is the bathroom with shower and toilet and an incredible view of the Rophaien. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove and oven. Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils and crockery.
Would you like to enjoy breakfast with us? For 15.-/ person you can help yourself from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the buffet in the hotel. Please reserve it in advance.
